You’re so smart for choosing a chunky weight pattern for your first sweater! I am currently making my first sweater and it’s knit with 6mm needles and I wanna die 😭. But I am almost done with the body and can get onto the sleeves after 3 weeks

I'd love to learn how to knit wrist/hand warmers since my wrists and fingers can get cold :') I don't know if that's too advanced for a beginner but I guess I'll have to find out? I'd also love to learn to crochet this year too :)
This was amazing seeing your perspective and how you achieved it. I think knitting thicc wool to start with as a beginner is good as it lets you feel progress in comparison with DK even worse 4 ply ( I refuse to call it “fingering”😅) I love WATG wools but they are so costly. I’ve a LYS sells thick chunky wool but at a quarter the price
I could just watch endless hours of you just knitting. Also did you show it to your parents??? What was their reaction??? They must be really proud of you
